NATURE CAPTURED - HAPPY EGRETS AT THE LAKE...
Last September, I spent some time at the private lake/retreat of my good friends. Just minutes from the city of Yukon. A peaceful place with two lakes, log cabins and no one around. Being there truly is an amazing experience. Peace and quiet.
A unique place to re-discover sounds and visions of life....

Bo, looks like these fellows are having a really fun family reunion!
Those birds are so elegant Bo. Whenever we are down 'south' we are always amazed by them and their beautiful feathers. Your friends lake sounds like an absolute perfect spot. You are very fortunate to have been there. Have a great day! Smiles back ;)
Patricia - family reunion, eh? That is one serious amount of family...lol...
A & P - this retreat is only for the family, I am kind of a 'fake' family though...it is an incredible place, like a little piece of heaven on earth. I consider myself very fortunate... Here is another shot at them, however, I didn't have my camera ready in time...there were dozens and dozens of them before I snapped a pic..

Bo, We have lots of Egrets in Naples but would not have thought OK! Gorgeous how they look like flowers on a tree sometimes.
Marcia - what a surprise...LOL..they are quite happy here...I see them lots of times following cattle or horses (I think they like all of the insects)...Egrets are graceful and dazzling in flight. I love watching when a whole flock gets off in the air lookin like a soft angelic cloud...

Bo,
I didn't realize they were in Oklahoma either, but you have captured a very typical water scene with them. :)
Steve
Steve - they love water, but they also like to keep company with a livestock...I will find some picks later...
