I was present when this little sweet thing was born...what a miracle! He was so akward and a bit tired but really tried hard to stand up on his legs...Since he was born he was always a pure joy to have, however, he is capable of showing some temper and "who is the boss" attitude. He comes from an excellent bloodline and my friends hope for a "good bump" in their retirement...LOL...Enjoy!

Experience isn't expensive, it's PRICELESS!

Very Cute, I did not know that horses have no teeth when they are born!!!!
Jane - lol...we learn lots on AR, don't we?
Bo,
Nice photo. Its been a while since I've see a little one that close.
Oh my, How cute. Thanks for sharing.
Awwww, what a cute animal baby!
Robin - Buddy is almost two years old, so it has been a while for me, too
Robin - thanks for stopping by
Who would have thought that I learned about baby horses being born w/o teeth on a real estate site!
Robert - that is funny! I hope you enjoyed the pic...
Bo, I didn't know about the teeth thing either...but I suppose it makes sense!
Debi
Bo, what an awesome photo and the fact that you were there for his birth, simply amazing.
Debi- I am glad you came to this conclusion...lol
Debbie - it was an awsome event! and I love both of them - the mama Lilly and Little Buddy
Great shot!!! Appaloosa's tend to be a little temper-mental though. Give him lots of love to keep his attitude sweet.
Sara - he has all the love he can handle I think....I have a soft spot in my heart for him...he can be a little ornery!
Very nice Bo. Is he broke yet? I love riding, and there so much fun in the breaking stage. You just never know whats going to happen until you actually climb up there one day. The sweet innocent ones can really throw you for a loop sometimes.
Ian - no he is not broke yet...but has a trainer to teach him how to behave and be a 'good buddy'...
Bo - neat picture. Best of luck to your friends with their retirement bump.
Lynn, thanks will convey good wishes...lol...
Great picture. I hope he is as much fun as he looks.
I am with one of the other commenters -- was not aware that baby horses did not have teeth.
Simon, he definitely is a hand full but loving too
Bob and Carolin - LOL...so obvious that we forgot to think about it, eh?
Horses have always been my favorite animal. Your picture bring back some good memories. Thank you...
Mark, they are my favorite, too...glad you enjoyed the pic...
Bo, I love watching the little newborns when they are first trying to stand up. You photo is a good demonstration in veterinary dentistry. No teeth -- who knew.
Shirley, isn't he cute on this pic? Now he is a big boy...or he thinks so..lol Hope you are staying warm, we are completely frozen here with hard slit coming down like BB ammo...
With smiles,
Bo
I'm with Jane, I had no idea they had no teeth! Lucky for mom, huh? :)
Doreen - LOL...Surprise, surprise...
